Story Summary
The episode begins when Bart becomes frustrated with his art teacher after receiving poor grades in class. Looking for revenge, he creates a voodoo doll of his teacher using instructions he finds in an old spell book.
Bart intends to make his teacher sick, but the spell goes terribly wrong. Instead of becoming ill, she unexpectedly announces that she is pregnant. Although the pregnancy is simply a coincidence, Bart believes his voodoo magic actually worked.
When news spreads around Springfield, many people begin believing Bart possesses magical powers that can help couples who are struggling to have children. Before long, families from across the town start asking Bart to perform his unusual fertility ritual.
At first, Bart enjoys the attention and popularity. He performs more fake ceremonies, and many couples surprisingly experience good luck afterward. As rumors continue to spread, Bart becomes a local celebrity.
Meanwhile, the Springfield Mafia, led by Fat Tony, hears about Bart's supposed gift. They kidnap him and demand that he use his "magic" to help one of their valuable racehorses produce a champion foal.
Bart quickly realizes he is in serious trouble. Since he has no real magical abilities, he desperately searches for a way to escape while convincing everyone that the pregnancies and good fortune were nothing more than coincidence.
Eventually, the truth comes out, and everyone realizes Bart's success was based on luck rather than magic. Bart returns home relieved that his unusual adventure is finally over, while Springfield moves on from another bizarre rumor.
