Story Summary

The episode begins when Springfield Elementary introduces a new educational experiment that quickly turns into chaos. Frustrated with the poor learning environment, Lisa decides she wants a better education. After learning about the prestigious Rommelwood Military Academy, she asks Homer and Marge to enroll her there.

At the same time, Bart is caught pulling another prank at school. As punishment, Homer decides that Bart should also attend Rommelwood Military Academy, hoping the strict discipline will improve his behaviour.

When Lisa arrives at the academy, she discovers that she is the first female cadet ever admitted. Many of the boys underestimate her abilities, and some openly question whether she belongs there. Despite the challenges, Lisa refuses to give up and works hard to prove herself.
