Story Summary
The episode begins when Kirk Van Houten suddenly changes his lifestyle during a midlife crisis, constantly repeating the phrase "YOLO" (You Only Live Once). Seeing Kirk enjoy life makes Homer realize that his own life has become predictable, leaving him feeling disappointed and unmotivated.
To cheer Homer up, Marge contacts Eduardo, Homer's childhood pen pal from Spain. Eduardo travels to Springfield and encourages Homer to complete the list of adventures he dreamed about when he was ten years old.
